Mick Von Williams

Mick Von Williams, age 78, of Chesaning (Brant Twp), passed away at his home on July 23, 2025.

Mick was born on January 23, 1947, in Missouri, to the late Kenneth and Ruby (Roe) Williams. He attended St. Charles High School. After High School he served in the National Guard and was then drafted into the United States Army. He loved hunting, fishing, and enjoyed the outdoors and tending to his yard. He was fond of football and basketball and enjoyed art and making bird houses.

He was married to Kristine Williams, with whom he had his daughter Jamie Williams. Mick worked in production for many years. He loved retirement as it gave him more time to enjoy his wife Kristine “Sue” and their precious puppies Ruby and Jake, whom he referred to as his “Three Musketeers.”

Mick is survived by his wife Kristine Williams; children: Jamie, Shanon, and Harley; grandchildren; and many other loved ones.

He was predeceased by his father, mother, brothers and sister.

In honor of Mick’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial contribution to the family.
