Michael Lee Vaughn

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and loved one passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at University of Michigan Hospital, with his family at his side. Age 70 years.

The son of the late Glen and Cora (Sykes) Roach, Mike was born on April 3, 1955, in Lima, Ohio. He attended Saginaw High School. Mike married Lori Ann Bell on September 11, 1992, in Saginaw, Michigan. She survives him. Mike enjoyed the outdoors; he would often go fishing and camping. Above all, Mike cherished the time spent with his family and loved ones, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving are wife, Lori Vaughn; sons and daughters, Eric Bell, Aaron Vaughn (Amber Davenport), Michelle McAfee, Lavender Wirrick (Ernie Bauza); Zaine, Troy, Delaney, Aerianna, Maverick, Markeisha, Ayden, Amari, Aston; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice Clemmons, Kathreen Ware. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and loved ones. Besides his parents; Mike was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Porter, Judy Talley, Dorothy Johnson, Ruby Vaughn; and his brother, David Vaughn.

Funeral service will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, MI 48603. His nephew, Rev. Jason Ware will officiate with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, MI 48603, and from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral chapel.
