Michael Leo Temple

The beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Friday, January 20, 2023 at the age of 64. 

The son of the late Jack and Jeanne (Belill) Temple was born on November 18, 1958 in Saginaw. He graduated from Swan Valley High School with the class of 1977. Mike married Malinda “Mindy”  Buxman on July 11, 1997; she survives him. He retired from Swan Valley Public Schools after almost 20 years of service, where he was affectionately known as "Mr Mike" and was always having prank wars with the staff.

Mike's greatest assets were his ability to make people laugh, his passion for cleaning, his dedication to his family, and his pride in his children and grandchildren.

Besides his wife: Mindy Temple; surviving are their children: Michael L. Temple II, Kassi Burns, Chase Temple, Chelsea Temple; grandchildren: Paige, Ayden, Maryah, Vivian, and grandpup Abby; his twin brother Mitchell Temple, his siblings: Kimberly (Tom Hare) Alfano, Kelly (Victor) Theisen, his sisters-in-laws: Debbie (Gary) Kopta and Connie (Brian) Pittman; a very special friend: Sandy Ely. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, family members and very dear friends. Besides his parents, Mike was predeceased by his brother Brett Temple, and his mother and father-in-law, Richard and Joyce Buxman.

A memorial service will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2023 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd.  Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 1:00-7:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
