Michael Robert Schrank

Our loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle passed away July 2, 2021. Age 41 years.

Michael was born on January 31, 1980, son of Robert and the late Gail (Curran) Schrank, in Saginaw. He married Andrea Karpuk on May 29, 2014. She survives him. Michael was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1999. He was currently the President of V.F.W. Post #1566 Association and employed with Glastender Inc. Michael was an avid U of M Fan, loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was an amazing father, and could always give the best advice. His beautiful eyes, smile and contagious laugh will be missed by many.

Surviving are his wife Andrea; children; Elena, Lilly, Maci and Grayson; his father, Robert Schrank; sisters and brother, Christine Ely (Manuel DelValle), Michelle (Robert) Westphal, James Schrank, Carrie (Eric) Johnson and identical twin, Mark Schrank (Brooke); sister-in-law, Karmin (Ryan) Keller; brother-in-law, Daryl (Felisha) Karpuk; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Michael was predeceased by his brother, Steven Schrank, sister, Debra Schrank, mother and father-in-law, Joanne and Daryl Karpuk.

Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2021 at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Pastor Amy Terhune will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. It is requested that your favorite U of M gear to be worn on Friday. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, July 8, 2021, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 12:00 Noon until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the college fund for his children, in care of Andrea Schrank.
