Loving husband, father and grandfather passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at the age of 57 years. The son of the late Louis A. and Marion L. (Hayes) Poineau was born on March 6, 1959 in Saginaw. He married Debra M. Browning on October 23, 1982; she survivies him. Mike enjoyed fishing and camping with family and friends. Surviving besides his wife, Debbie are their children: Michael L. Poineau, Jr., Melissa (David) Scoggins, grandchildren: Eliazbeth and Jonathan Poineau, David III and William Scoggins, his siblings: Robert (Kathy) Poineau, Louis (Trish) Poineau, Kathy (Robert) Swiecicki, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, Mike was predeceased by a brother James Poineau. Memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Pastor Bill Bodnar will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service.
