Michael James Schnell

Schnell, Michael Saginaw Township, Michigan Passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 at home at the age of 56 years. Michael was born June 4, 1956 in Saginaw, the son of Celia (Swan) and James T. Schnell, Sr. He served with the U. S. Navy for ten years. He retired from General Motors. Mike was a former member of Peace Lutheran Church. Surviving besides his parents, James and Celia, are his brother, James (Kathy) Schnell; one niece, Kristen (Nathan) Trier; one nephew, Josh Schnell; two grandnieces, Emma and Ava Trier. also surviving is his best friend Becky Martinez. Funeral service will take place 11:30 a.m. Thursday March 14, 2013 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. with burial to follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
