McAdams, Michael D. Bay City, Michigan Loving husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the age of 66 years. The son of the late Edward and Inez (Hill) McAdams was born on May 13, 1950 in Lansing, MI. He was a graduate of Holt High School- class of 1968. Michael served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He married Janet Honaman on April 20, 2001; she survives him. Michael worked as an environmental technician. He enjoyed the outdoors, boating, and antique cars; including his prized 1959 El Camino, going to car shows and was an avid sports fan, especially anything that involves the MSU Spartans. Surviving besides his wife, Janet, are his children: Brian (fianc Colleen Houseman) McAdams, Julie (Brent) Madaj, five grandchildren: Sierra Madaj, Klauz Madaj, Galexia Madaj, Zeus Madaj, and Triton Madaj, his mother-in-law June Honaman, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Sharon Honaman, Diane (Arnold) Snyder, Terry (Leslie) Honaman, Daniel Honaman, Karen (Greg) Good, the mother of his children Karen Todd, many nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends. He was predeceased by a brother Gerald McAdams, and his father-in-law Keith Honaman. Memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, Merrill with military burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
