Maxwell David Honaman

Maxwell David Honaman, born January 22, 2000, in Saginaw, Michigan, passed from his earthly body on June 30, 2025. Maxwell’s soul has departed this world to be with his Creator, forever dwelling in peace and harmony.

Maxwell was genuine, gentle, and remarkably kind. Known for his generosity and his gift of truly listening, he gave his full attention to those around him—especially the elderly family members, whom he cared for with deep compassion. His warm smile and the sparkle in his eyes uplifted everyone who had the privilege of being in his presence.

A graduate of Valley Lutheran High School in 2018, Maxwell went on to earn an Associate Degree in Business from Delta College in 2020. Even before graduating, he began a dedicated career with Fabiano Brothers Inc., where his strong work ethic and reliability left a lasting impression. Though never boastful, Max found joy in sharing his daily accomplishments with his mom—a ritual that reflected both pride and the depth of their bond.

Maxwell lived with a zest for life that inspired those around him. He cherished special moments with family, particularly attending Michigan State University football games with his father. Together, they dreamed of visiting every Big Ten stadium—a goal fueled by their shared passion for college football. Maxwell also found great joy in cooking, golfing, and fishing, which created treasured memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Maxwell shared a deep and loving bond with his sister. Their playful spirit and close connection brought them both immense joy, creating memories they each held dear.

He is survived by his loving parents, David Gerald Honaman and Robin Ann (Guionnaud) Honaman; his siblings, David J. (Anna) Honaman, Aaron J. Honaman, and Madalyn R. (Clay Hudson) Honaman; and his cherished grandmothers, Ruth M. Honaman, Lyn A. Croteau, and Carol Guionnaud. He will also be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whose lives he touched.

Maxwell was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Gerald R. Honaman and Rene’ A. Guionnaud.

Max’s legacy is one of love, warmth, and unwavering kindness. He will be forever remembered as a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend.
