Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend went home to be with her savior on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at the age of 87 years.

The daughter of the late Alfred and Clara (Eaton) Monk, Mary was born on June 17, 1935 in Saginaw, Michigan. Mary married Norman G. Rosa on October 13, 1951. They shared 68 wonderful years together. He preceded her in death on November 6, 2019. Mary was a gifted seamstress and was known for creating beautiful garments. She also loved decorating her home, cooking, baking, gardening and reading. Mary was active in church, enjoyed Bible study and getting together with friends.

Mary leaves behind a daughter, Julie (James) Mueller; her son, Paul Rosa (Joan Clark). Mary also had four grandchildren: Brandon Ellen, Dylan Rosa, Matthew (Angel) Mueller and Ashley (Kimo) Andrews along with 5 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Norman Rosa; her son: Gary Rosa; her sister and brother: Shirley Grierson, Robert Monk.

A Committal Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 950 N. Center Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48638. Rev. Dan Shinabarger will officiate. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Saginaw Rescue Mission or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
