Rocha, Mary Lupe Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved mother passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Covenant Healthcare, with her loving family at her side, age 76 years. Mary was born December 10, 1937 in Irishtown, Michigan the daughter of the late David Flores and the late Esperanza (Yerena) Martinez. Mary was a former member of St. Josaphat Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family and she spent much of her day in prayer and biblical study. Mary is survived by three children, Daniel (Heather) Rocha, David (Kristine) Rocha and Diane Rocha (Scott Schatzer); 10 grandchildren, Andrew, Marissa, Dylan, Madeline, Dominic, Morgan, Kayla, Makayla, Justin and Mayson; 17 brothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Manuel Martinez, Sr.; a granddaughter, Brittney; two sisters, Helen Cortez and Margarita Garza; two brothers, Marty Martinez and Manuel Martinez. The funeral liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 915 N. 6th Street. Rev. Father Joseph Schabel will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery, Irishtown, MI. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Sunday from1:00 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 8:00 p.m. where they may join the family to pray the rosary at 7:00 p.m. Friends may then call at church Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the mass.
