Passed away on June 11, 2016 at Cartwright Care Center after a lengthy illness at the age of 72 years. The daughter of the late George and Helen (Goff) Farley Sr. was born on November 26, 1943 in Glassboro, NJ. She married Jerry M. Fischer on September 5, 1964; he survives her. Mary retired from the Jack Kerr Law Practice. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Shields. Mary enjoyed painting ceramics, quilting, sewing and spending time with her family. Surviving besides her husband, Jerry, are their children: James (Karen Sweet) Fischer, Cathy (Tim) Denter, three grandsons: Adam, Justin, Aaron, her brother George (Susan) Farley, her sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Karen (Pat) McQuiston and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by a sister-in-law Nina Fischer. The family would like to thank Dr. Bartnik and the staff at Covenant for the loving care they gave Mary. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Christ Lutheran Church, 8795 Ederer Rd. Rev. Joshua Becker will officiate with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. on Wednesday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and on Thursday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or the American Cancer Society.
