Mary Francis Coon of Saginaw, Michigan Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at her home, with her family by her side, on Saturday, May 4, 2019. She was 87 years old. Mary Francis Coon was born on August 9, 1931, to the late George and Ella Mae (Nichelson) Ledford. Mary married Joseph Thomas Frollo on November 8, 1952. She later married Gary Coon on October 1, 1993; he preceded her in death on November 21, 2012. She was of the Baptist Faith. Mary enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing and camping. Mary also enjoyed being outside with her flowers, sewing and decorating her home. She will forever be remembered for her sweet, gracious and endearing spirit. Surviving are five daughters and one son: Kathy (William) May; Deborah Frollo, Victoria Schaefer, Stephanie (Steve) Jarvis, Stephan Preslupski; Melissa (Jason Adams; nine grandchildren: Joseph Frollo; Aaron Harper; Krystal (Craig) Ruppert; Deborah (Allen) Borowski; Ryan St. Dennis; Sarah Balzer; David Balzer; Mary Balzer; Robert Balzer; eight great-grandchildren: Andrew Harper; Aubree Harper; Sophia Frollo; Penelope Frollo; Gabrielle Borowski; Madeline Borowski; Olivia Ruppert; Amelia Ruppert; Levi St. Dennis; Nola St. Dennis. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister and two brothers: Edith Hughes; Thomas Ledford; James Ledford. Honoring Marys wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019, at the W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Joseph Alan Frollo will lead the service. Friends are welcome to visit with the family on funeral home on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
