Obituary

I was born July 26, 1927 at St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. I died November 3, 2025, at my home in Saginaw, Michigan surrounded by my family.

My parents were Durl A. and Myrtle (Guiette) Dise. I had two brothers. My older one was Harold (Dorothy) Dise and my younger one is Jim (Lavina) Dise. I attended Sacred Heart School in Saginaw for eight years and St. Mary's High School for four years. After graduation I worked at Michigan Bell Telephone Company in the Accounting Department for seven years. I was a member of Sacred Heart Church for twenty-three years, St. Peter and Paul Church for thirty-seven years and Holy Family from 1987 to the present.

On November 11, 1950 I married Bill Ferguson. We were blessed with six children - four sons and two daughters, David (Nancy) Ferguson, Williamston, Michigan; Jim (Donna) Ferguson, Sahuarita, Arizona, Martha (Mike) Ducham, Saginaw, Michigan; Kevin (Pat) Ferguson, Saginaw, Michigan; Mary Corcoran, Carrollton, Michigan and Rev. Fr. Timothy Ferguson, Escanaba, Michigan. I have sixteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter, all of whom I have Loved very much.

I liked to read, knit and bake in my spare time which I did not have much of until my children were raised. My greatest delight was attending Daily Mass. I enjoyed volunteering for many years at the East Side Soup Kitchen and the Children's Christmas Store. I was also on many commissions and committees in the Catholic Church. I worked for eleven years on the Saginaw County Board of Canvassers.

Miss me if you will but do not grieve. I am going to be with my husband Bill Ferguson, my parents Durl and Myrtle Dise, Bill's parents Margaret and Thomas Ferguson, my brother Harold and his wife Dorothy, my sister-in-law Virginia Dise, my son-in-law Mark Corcoran and many other ancestors, relatives and friends. When your time comes, I will greet you with open arms and say, "Welcome Home". May God have mercy on my soul.
