Mary E. Miller

Miller, Mary E. Hemlock, Michigan Passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016, at the age of 96 years. Mary was born March 3, 1920, in Hartlepool, England, the daughter of the late John and Minnie (Humphrey) Harker. She was a war-bride, having married Edward E. Miller on June 26, 1946, in England. Edward predeceased her November 8, 1995. She was a very active member of Hemlock United Methodist Church for 65 years and the Lakefield Quilters. Surviving are: two daughters and a son, Sharon Miller and Craig Delaney, Linda and Daniel Szewczyk, and John Miller; three grandchildren, Wendy and Michael Prezzato, Kelly and Roger Myers, and Tyler John Miller; six great-grandchildren, Emily Prezzato and Bryce Reddick, Nicholas Prezzato, Morgan Myers, Gabrielle Myers, Andrew Myers and Claire Myers; two sisters-in-law, Sandra Kaufman and Myrtle Miller; a brother-in-law Joe and Lavonna Miller. Mary was predeceased by a brother and a sister, John Harker and Dora Harker. A Memorial service will take place 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 3, 2016, at the Hemlock United Methodist Church, 406 W. Saginaw Rd., Hemlock, Michigan. Rev Michael Vollmer will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 4:00 p.m.until the time of the service.
