Our loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 16, 2019, surrounded by her family. Age 83 years. Mary was born on February 18, 1936, daughter of the late Ira and Harriett Luplow, in Saginaw. She graduated from St. Andrew Catholic High School, Class of 1954 and was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. She married James Yule on March 1, 1966. He survives her. Mary worked for Gridley Music for 20 years and was a great piano player. She had also worked in sales for Garber and Draper. Mary adored her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, crocheting and spending time at their cottage at Sage Lake. Mary will be missed by her husband of 53 years, James; children, Elizabeth (Timothy) Gohm Debbi (Dan) Chernich, Chris (Robin) Yule and Ross (Dawn) Yule; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Karen (George) Bishop, sister-in-law, Barb Luplow; brother-in-law, Robert Gilman, also many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, Claude and Dorothy Luplow, sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Elmer Kloha, sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Thomas Markey and brother, John Luplow; sister-in-law, Kay Luplow and sister-in-law, Shirley Luplow. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2019, at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Fr. Ronald Wagner will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 Noon until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Alzheimers Association.
