Mary Ann Aimesbury (Rukowicz)

Mary Ann Rukowicz was born on March 7, 1942, in Detroit, to the late John and Alma Rukowicz. She passed away on June 30, 2024 in Alma, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
On October 26, 1964, she married the love of her life, William Aimesbury. Together they made their house a home for 50 years. Mary was a woman known for her honesty and loyalty. Her presence lit up the lives of those around her, serving as a beacon of hope in both good times and bad. She had a remarkable ability to love unconditionally, touching the hearts of everyone she met. Mary was also known for her skill at cards, earning her the title of a card shark among friends and family. In her free time, Mary enjoyed playing bingo and finding joy in spending quality time with her loved ones. Her beloved best friend was Max the cat, who brought her comfort and companionship. At the end of Mary's life, she moved to Masonic Pathways in Alma where she was surrounded by her wonderful friends and loving staff.
Mary is survived by her three children: Brian (Maribeth) Aimesbury, Tammy (Zenos) Dupuis, and Debra Radina; seven grandchildren: Joshua (Anna) Aimesbury, Bianca, Faith, Darius, Melinda, Alex, and Charlie; seven great-grandchildren: Joelle, Kennedy, Addison, Dexter, AJ, Roman, and Roze. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William; her parents, and siblings: Earl, Esther, Edna, and Sandra; one grandson, Adam.
Private committal to take place at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
