Passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Age 65 years.

Marty was born on August 30, 1958, son of the late Martin and Myrtle (Richey) Moritz, Sr., in Saginaw. He retired from General Motors with 30 years of service, was a member of the U.A.W. Local #467 and the Bridgeport Gun Club. He was an avid Harley rider, enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching western and war movies. Marty had many friends and never met a stranger.

Marty is survived by his wife, Tammy Moritz; children, Amanda Moritz, Shannon and Brandi DeShone; grandchildren, Marcella, Alyssa, Hunter, Braylah, Alyviah, Cayson and Karsyn; his special nieces, Cheri (Jeff) Jackson and Patricia (Ramiro) Dominguez; and many good friends. He was predeceased by his son, Jason DeShone, grandson, Lamarkas Brown, sister, Michele Moritz-Rupp and the mother of his daughter, Marcella Becker Moritz.

Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m., Monday October 16, 2023, at W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie Highway. Rev. Julie Bailey will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at the chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.
