Mark Kehr

Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved father, brother, and uncle passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at his home. Age 70 years.

The son of the late Frederick and Betty (Persons) Kehr, Mark was born on July 31, 1954, in Saginaw, Michigan. He attended Arthur Hill Technical School. Mark worked at General Motors for 30 years, retiring from Saginaw Metal Castings in 2005. His independent spirit was a defining characteristic of his life. Mark found solace being outdoors, and found joy in gardening, fishing, walking in the woods, and day trips across Michigan. Mark had a profound appreciation for history, which he pursued through reading.

Surviving are his daughter and son, Dawn (Ryan Parrish) Kehr, Matthew (Sarah) Kehr; sister, Diana (William) Jennings; brother, Fred (Kathy) Kehr; and his beloved cats, Shelby and Pearl. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Besides his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his brother, William Kehr.

Honoring Mark’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private committal will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Humane Society of Saginaw County.
