Marjorie M. Rohde, born Marjorie Columbus on March 11, 1943, in Midland, MI, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on June 3, 2024, in Saginaw, MI. Marjorie graduate from Midland High School in the class 1961.

She was a valued member of St. John XXIII, St. Patrick Catholic Church.  Marjorie was a prayerful person, often praying for her family and friends.  She was known for her love of gardening, coloring, puzzles, and most notably for cherishing time spent with her family. Marjorie is survived by her husband and dancing partner, John F. Rohde, whom she married on March 3, 1962. She is also survived by their children:  Brigid A. (Eddie J. Folkertsma) Rohde, John (Christine) Rohde II, Bernadette (Johnny) Roberts,  Christopher Rohde, Laura (Steve) Butcher, Jennifer Rohde, Delcie (Gene) Glazier, Zachary (Nicole) Rohde, her grandchildren: Jasmin (JuanCarlos) Padilla, Trevor (Whitney) Lape, Taylor (Andrew) Hinojosa, Ashley (Joel) Rohde, Lucas (Stacey) Rohde, Arin Rohde, Jeremiah (Desiree) Roberts, Mariah (Chris Sorbet) Roberts, Anne Rohde, Caitlin (Matthew) Eastman, Joey Rohde, Isaiah Butcher, Donna (Nathan Collins) Jackson, Jake (Adrieanna Green) Jackson, Braven Rohde, David (Kayla) Kipfmiller, Hannah, Elijah, Brielle, Sawyer Rohde, her great-grandchildren: Grayson, Vivianna, Dylan, Steven, Vivian, Hayle, Bridgette, Morgan, Andi, Jackson, Regan, Gracie, Waylon, Weston, David, Hudson, her sisters Mary Lou Hughes,  Lois Short, her brother-in-law Jerome Rohde and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her two brothers Richard Columbus and Dan Columbus and her parents, Arthur and Myrtle (Chartier) Columbus.

Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2024 at St. John XXIII Parish, St. Patrick Catholic Church, 4708 Meridian Rd., Merrill, MI, Rev. Fr. Michael Steltenkamp will officiate with burial at St. Patrick Cemetery, 3245 S. Homer Rd., Merrill, MI.   Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 125 E. Saginaw St. in Merrill, on Thursday from 2:00-4:00p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy.
