Marion Jeanne Mundt Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the age of 86 years. The daughter of the late Erwin and Luella Ballien Muelhenbeck was born November 14, 1930 in Saginaw. She resided here all her life. She attended St. Paul Lutheran School and Michigan Lutheran Seminary. She graduated from Delta College and Central Michigan University. She was employed by Saginaw City School District and by Saginaw Intermediate School District, teaching special education at Millet Learning Center until retiring in 1994. She also worked at CHS. Marion was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church. She married Robert L. Mundt on April 15, 1950 who passed away February 26, 2009. Surviving are her children, Marla (Kim) Newton, Gary Mundt, Wayne (Sharon) Mundt; her grandchildren, Amy (Carl) Burton, Karen Babcock, Mark (Rebecca) Mundt, Kelly Mundt, Brooke Newton, Matthew Newton, and Jamie; her great grandchildren, Brandi (Justin) Lampman, Gary Lee (Tabitha) Babcock, James Babcock, Brendan Burton; great-great grandchildren, Eleanora, Lucas, Aaron and Madison. She was predeceased by two brothers, Erwin and Dale Muelhenbeck and her mother-in-law and father-in-law. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2017 at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Court and Bond Sts. Rev. Carl Otto will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday. They may then call at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
