Shaffer, Marilyn M. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on December 9, 2013 at the age of 76 years. The daughter of the late Clarence and Helen (Brinkman) Bierlein was born on September 18, 1937 in Saginaw. She married Howard P. Shaffer, Sr. he predeceased her in 1992. She retired from General Motors. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bay City. Surviving are a son, Howard (Shana) Shaffer, Jr., a step-daughter Paula Nowak, grandchildren: Michael, Gary, Zachary, Brandon, her friends Mary Woods, Carolyn Miller, Judy Harbottle. She was predeceased by her sister Shirley. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2013 at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd.
