IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marilyn Jean
Rossman
January 29, 1932 – November 19, 2025
Marilyn Jean Schluckbier was born on January 29, 1932 to Otto and Marjorie Haines Schluckbier and grew up in Richville, MI. She has one amazing sister, Janet and two brothers Larry and Ron (passed) and an incredible niece Kim. She had a beautiful daughter, Suzanne, and many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked at Lufkin Rule as a young adult and loved it.
She married L.C. Pete Castagnier (passed), who was sales manager for Garber Pontiac/Cadillac and later Pete’s Remodeling. They had three beautiful children, Layne (passed), Lori and Lance and more wonderful grandchildren. She later married James H. Rossman (passed), and together they owned an appraisal business. They also chaired the AA meetings at Pathways for over 25 years and helped save many lives.
Jean loved caring for her sweet, white German Shepherd, Misty. She loved her birds, being in nature, taking care of her plants, but mostly cooking amazing meals for her family. She made every holiday special and memorable.
Jean was an angel on earth, always putting everyone’s needs above her own. She looked forward to every day and asked what the Lord had planned for her. She loved music and two of her favorites, Frank Sinatra and Willie Nelson both sang “My Way”, the way she loved to live her life.
