Marie L. Butzin

Marie L. Butzin Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at the age of 84 years. Marie was born September 17, 1932, in Saginaw to the late Frank and Irene (Kocinski) Barowski. She married Walter J. Butzin on February 20, 1954; he predeceased her January 16, 2014. She loved spending time with the many dogs she had in her lifetime. Marie also enjoyed ceramics, cake decorating, shopping, travel, and watching her favorite TV shows. She is survived by her children, Dr. Kurt A. Butzin, Lori L. Butzin, and Jeffrey S. (Patricia) Butzin; grandchildren, Kayla A. (Adam) Polega, Matthew S. Butzin, Troy J. Butzin; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Aubrey Jean Polega; and sisters, Linda (Richard) Lomba and Violet (William) Knights. She was predeceased by her sister Betty Dawson and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2016, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
