Left this earth peacefully Sunday October 9, 2022, to be with her Lord and Savior. Maria was born on March 7, 1934, in Durango, Mexico to Juan and Josefa (Facio) Rubio. Maria married Joseph W. Gagne in March of 1951 while he was stationed in El Paso, Texas. Together they had seven children. Maria worked many years at Daily's Pickle factory and was a caregiver/housekeeper until her retirement. In March of 1978, she married George Garcia. Together they spent time traveling, playing with the grandchildren, and with their beloved dogs. Maria and George spent many hours at their local church in Saginaw where they lived, attending and volunteering. One of Maria and George's favorite times each morning was going to the local donut shop for coffee. Maria is survived by her seven children: Josephina (John) Glazier, Rosa (Gary) Campbell, Jose (Lynette) Gagne, Roberto (Nicki) Gagne, Juan (Denise) Gagne, Guiermo (Carol) Gagne, Alberto (Leisa) Gagne.
