Margaret Mae Patterson

Better known as "Peggy Sue" passed away peacefully August 17th, 2023, at the Covenant Cooper Hospital with her family by her side. A huge thank you to the staff on the Critical Care Unit especially Katee. You went above and beyond.

Peggy was born on March 2nd, 1953, to the late Lester & Sarah Patterson in Saginaw, Michigan. She didn't have an easy start to life and the road stayed bumpy but Peggy was strong. She followed her dreams and went to Mott College in Flint where she studied to be a nurse aide and graduated. She loved the work and the people she was able to help.

Then in 1995 Peggy met the love of her life Victor Vallegos. Their love story blossomed over 28 beautiful years. She ALWAYS made sure he had what he needed and wanted. A love like theirs is hard to find. He preceded her in death.

Peggy Sue leaves behind many people who she meant the world to. Her favorite granddaughter and grandson Kasey and Jeremy Rosa who also were her caregivers for 16 years. Their daughters Nina & Nadia Rosa who always made sure she was included. A special granddaughter Chrystal Allen who always knew how to make her smile and took her and Papa to her house for mini vacations where the coffee and donuts overflowed. Chrystal's oldest daughters Lexus & Analiyah Miller, who were always a tremendous help when they came and stayed. Peggy also leaves behind 4 ladies she loved as if they were her own; Kathy Robertson, Sanjuanita Stevers, Maria Vallegos and Celadoria Vallegos. Celadoria preceded her in death. As well as many other grandchildren, great grandchildren and a few great great grandchildren.

Peggy Sue you will be missed.

I got you babe...........
