Lynn Ann Simon

September 8, 1955 — January 23, 2024

Lynn Ann Simon

Lynn was born on September 8, 1955, in Saginaw, Michigan. She spent much of her youth growing up in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Lynn returned to Saginaw, Michigan, as an adult where she built her life and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Age 68 years.

She leaves behind two daughters, Julia Hoeppner (Joseph Huls) and Jessica (Jason) LeVasseur, grandchildren: Jack Hoeppner, Madeline and Oliver LeVasseur.

Lynn was owner of Simon Says Play Daycare for over 20 years. She drove the Jungle Bus, a Safari mini van, and had some pretty epic power turns where you had to yell "Aahh!" At snack time she would yell out hockey puck and then chuck a Ding Dong at you.

Lynn loved quilting and sewing, genealogy, trashy romance novels, Monty Python, trivia night at G's Pizzeria, and always had a killer Pioneer stereo system. Above all she loved her family. Her favorite quote was "Aging is mandatory, growing up is a personal choice."

Surviving are sisters, Lisa (Gary) Hendel, Laura (John) Stone, brother John Simon, a special sister-in-law Cindy Simon. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.

Lynn was predeceased by her loving father Don Simon and her son-in-law Jared Hoeppner. Lynn's mother, Dorothy Simon, joined her later that day in heaven.

Honoring Lynn's wishes cremation has taken place. In honor of Lynn's love for reading and kids please consider donating to the Saginaw Public Libraries in her memory. Arrangements were entrusted to W.L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603.
