Lynn Hemerline 

Saginaw, MI 

Lynn Gene Hemerline, age 65, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023, at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital, after a hard-fought battle with heart disease. Lynn was born on July 5, 1957, the son of the late Loren and Jeanne (Dubuis) Hemerline.  

Lynn worked his entire life with his father and mother in their family excavating business and continued running the business after their deaths. He left many precious memories for those who knew and loved him. Lynn treasured spending time with his family, taking road trips, being with his grandsons, and playing with his dogs, Rex and Ruger. He loved to garden, and he canned bushels of tomatoes every season that he happily shared with others.  

Lynn is survived by his daughter, Erica (Josh) Sherman, son, Dustin (Sabrina) Hemerline; three grandsons, Dominic Hemerline, Thomas and Nicholas Sherman; sisters, Joy (Jerry) Gajewski, Carol (Harry) Spindler, and Kaye Hemerline (Larry Robinson); niece and nephews, Michael Gajewski, Cara Spindler (David Nelson), Paul (Kyle) Spindler, Jordan and Justin Robinson. He was predeceased by his beloved brother, Lonnie and stepmother, Marge Sink.
