Beloved mother and grandmother passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021, at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper; at the age of 74 years.

The daughter of the late Cecil and Florence (Vollmers) Hand, Lorraine was born on November 16, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan. Lorraine married Randall W. Neuwirth Sr. on September 1, 1967; he preceded her in death on September 9, 1989. Lorraine was a dedicated and loving mother, who cared and raised her five children. She cherished the time spent with her family.

Surviving are two sons, one daughter and their spouses: Randall Jr. and Lori Neuwirth, Michelle and Branden Brown, James and Melissa Neuwirth; daughter-in-law: Patricia Neuwirth; sixteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, two brothers and one sister: David (Ardyce) Hand, Karen Padgett, Cecil (Michelle) Hand. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides her husband and parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by Scott Neuwirth, Shannon Hilliard; sisters: Awilda Huard, Carol Starks, Barbara Collins; brother-in-law: Gary Padgett.

Funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw. Burial will take place at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, at the funeral chapel. In accordance with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services ordinance, indoor capacity is limited to 25 persons, face coverings are required, and social distancing encouraged. We appreciate everyone's efforts to reduce the spread of covid-19 in our community.
