Lonnie Ray Crofoot Merrill, MI Passed away peacefully at home September 29, 2013, after a lengthy illness at the age of 64. Lonnie was born March 15, 1949, to the late LeRoy and Clara (Giori) Crofoot. He was raised and graduated from high school in St. Charles. Lonnie retired from General Motors in 1998 after 31 years of service. He was a member of UAW Local 699, Moose International, Pulaski Club, and Ducks Unlimited. He married Donna Jean Wellman on December 26, 1984; she survives him. Together they enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, hunting, and golfing. Besides his loving wife of almost 29 years he leaves behind 2 sons; 4 grandchildren; and special cousins. The family would like to give a special thanks to Mary Shue and Dan Ogden from Genesys Hospice for keeping Lonnie comfortable during his final days. Per Lonnie's wishes cremation has taken place.
