Sutfin, Lois L. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at HealthSource, Saginaw, at the age of 86 years. Lois L. Hood was born September 2, 1928, in Lake City, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Bessie (Elder) and Thomas A. Hood. She married John W. Sutfin on December 17, 1947; he predeceased her January 25, 2003. She had been employed as an appraisal assistant and customer representative with Saginaw Savings and Loan, Family Federal and later Standard Federal Bank. She was a member of Community Baptist Church of Shields. Lois enjoyed reading, cooking and baking. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Surviving are two sons, William D. Sutfin and his wife, Dale, and Dell A. Sutfin, all of Saginaw; two grandsons and one great-granddaughter, Chad Sutfin and his wife Lisa, and their daughter, Olivia; Ty Sutfin and his wife Jennifer; many nieces, nephews and their families. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by five brothers and two sisters, Ernest, Charles, James, John, Ben and Mildred Hood, and Virginia Gilbert. Funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2015, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where her family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. Friday until the time of service. Rev.
