Wenzel, Lois J. Winn, Michigan Formerly of Merrill Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Friday, April 26, 2013, at the age of 82 years. Lois Jean Depre was born April 25, 1931, in Ohio, the daughter of the late Jerome and Caroline "Ann" (Cooper) Depre. She married Thomas G. Wenzel on March 10, 1949, and together they farmed in Merrill. He predeceased her January 7, 1983. Lois lived her life for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed shopping and trips to Traverse City. Surviving are two daughters and one son, Janitha and James Bardos, Winn, Michigan, with whom she made her home; Eileen and James Weber, Saginaw; Brian Wenzel, Breckenridge; three grandchildren, Adam and Angela Wright, Jared and Ashley Wright, and Kadie and Trevor Schultz; four great-grandchildren, Miriam Wright, Lydia Wright, Natalie Wright, and Carter Schultz, and another great-granddaughter due in August; two nieces and their families. She was predeceased by her brother, August Depre. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2013, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 125 E. Saginaw Street, Merrill, where her family will receive friends from 2:00 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, and then on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
