Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Covenant HealthCare – Harrison; at the age of 51 years.

The daughter of John and Virginia Gottschalk, Lisa was born on July 18, 1970 in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Hemlock High School with the class of 1988. Lisa then continued her education at Michigan State University graduating with her MBA. She married Greg Renas on May 22, 1999 in Hemlock, Michigan; he survives her. Lisa worked at Rehmann Robson C.P.A. for many years of loyal and dedicated service. She then served at the Memorial Presbyterian Church, Midland, Michigan as their Financial Administrator. Lisa enjoyed sports, especially watching her sons play youth and high school sports. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and traveling. Above all, Lisa cherished the time spent with her family and loved ones, especially camping and sports with her family.

Surviving besides her husband of 22 years, Greg Renas; are their two sons: Shane Renas, Joseph Renas; her parents: John and Virginia Gottschalk; two sisters: Karen (Ben) Schmidt, Amy Schaeding. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Honoring Lisa’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road. Rev. Robert Richards will officiate. Family and friends are welcome to visit at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Hemlock Athletic Boosters or Breast Cancer Foundation.
