Lisa Ann Allen, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at the age of 62. She will be remembered for her endearing and playful spirit. Growing up, she was a quiet and gentle soul who displayed a generous and kind nature. She had a deep love for family. Lisa had a quiet strength with which she lived her life. She loved to share what she had and give gifts. Lisa also had a good sense of humor. Although her battle with mental illness stole the true essence of her personality at times, underneath it all she was a gentle spirit. She battled several illnesses and physical disabilities but did not give up. She showed tremendous strength and resilience in spite of these challenges. Lisa was tenacious when she had a goal in mind. She appreciated the small and simple pleasures in life.

Lisa was born on August 25, 1964, in Saginaw, Michigan to O. John and Lynda Allen (Carpenter). She grew up in Harbor Beach and West Branch, Michigan. She graduated from high school in West Branch. During her school years, Lisa loved playing softball, being in the school band and socializing with her friends. Lisa brought determination, energy, and heart to everything she did. She was an especially caring older sister to her brother with autism whom she cherished.

Lisa lived a majority of her life in Saginaw. A lifelong animal lover, she had a special bond with her cats. They brought her comfort, companionship, and joy. Lisa’s family meant the world to her, and she was especially proud to be an aunt to Logan and Stephen (“Nick”). Her love for them was steady and sincere, and she treasured the bond she shared with those closest to her.

Lisa found peace and solace in her faith which remained a source of comfort throughout her life. She bravely persevered through her disabilities and met each day with courage. Despite her struggles, she often saw the positive side of things. Those who knew Lisa will remember the quiet grace that carried her through life challenges. Lisa’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who loved her. May she be remembered with tenderness, gratitude, and love.

Lisa will lovingly be remembered by her devoted mother, Lynda Allen of West Branch, MI. Lynda showed that same quiet resilience and strength with her unwavering support and love for her daughter. Lisa is also survived by her brother, Michael John Allen of West Branch, MI; her sister, Laura (Stephen) Savage, of Fayetteville, NC; her niece, Logan Savage, of Lyon, France; her nephew, Stephen Nicholas Savage, of Moose Jaw, Canada; her uncle, Richard Carpenter, of Freeland, MI; her beloved aunt, Sally Smith, of Simi Valley, CA; and cousins throughout Michigan and in Simi Valley, CA.

Lisa was preceded in passing by her father, O. John Allen; her loving grandparents; her Aunt Janet Price, of Bad Axe, MI; and her Uncle Patrick Allen, of Montrose, MI.

The family would like to recognize her kind and wonderful caregivers: Jackie, Mary, and Carla as well as her devoted case workers, Moncia and Chris. The family would also like to extend their thanks and gratitude for Residential Hospice and the Navaho Trail group home who gave her tender care during her final days.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 14, 2026 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N Miller Rd, Saginaw, MI 48609. Rev. Fr. John Mancini, OSFS will officiate the service. Family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Lisa will be laid to rest following the service at Wildwood Cemetery, 1025 Brady St, Chesaning, MI 48616.
