Linda Sue Williams passed away suddenly at home on September 24, 2026. She was the daughter of Gertrude and Cecil Burch Sr. Linda married her high school sweetheart James Williams on September 4, 1982. Jim predeceased her on January 13, 2024, after 41 years of marriage. Linda graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1980. She graduated from Delta College in May 1983 with an associate’s degree. Linda loved to Knit and Crochet and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her three sons Josh, Nathan and Daniel. Nathan’s partner Emily Iveson and granddaughter Elowyn. Also surviving Linda are her mother Gertrude Burch, brother Cecil (chip) Burch Jr., mother-in-law Mary Williams, sister-in-law Kathy Millier, brother-in-law Ken Williams, Ken’s wife Mary Williams and God Mother Phillis Felske. Predeceasing Linda are her husband Jim Williams, father Cecil Burch Sr., father-in-law Albert Williams, brother-in-law Richard Miller and infant brother Brian Williams.

In accordance with Linda’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on October 10th, 2026, at 10:30 am at Bridgeport Community Church 3821 State St. Bridgeport MI. An hour visitation will take place an hour before and after the service.

The Family asks that all flowers, donations, etc. be directed to Bridgeport Community Church.
