Beloved Father, grandfather, great-grandfather passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018 at the age of 92 years. Les was born on October 13, 1926 to the late Theodore and Mary (Hoeppner) Andrus He married Joyce Koeplinger on June 26, 1948; she predeceased him in 1985. Les served in the U.S. Army during WWII stationed in Japan. He retired from Great Lakes Express. Les was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, gardening, camping and spending time with his family. Surviving are his children: David (Kathy) Andrus, James (Maureen) Andrus, Dennis Andrus, daughter-in-law Debbie Andrus, five grandchildren: Matt (Shelly) Andrus, Jenny Payne, Jamie (Eve) Andrus, Josh (fianc Lauren Heinz) Andrus, Tyler (Tina) Andrus, five great-grandchildren, his sister, Mildred Wood and many other relatives and friends. Besides his parents and wife, Joyce, he was predeceased by his son, Steve Andrus and his sister Hazel Burch. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 at St. Pauls Ev. Lutheran Church at Court and Bond Sts. Rev. David Naumann will officiate with military burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
