Leola "Lee" Eleanor Pease

Lee passed away peacefully at Westfall AFC Home in Saginaw on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at the age of 93 years. She was born on January 27, 1927 to the late Ernest and Ruth (Miller) Hall in Merrill. Lee graduated from Merrill High School. She married Alfred L. Pease on January 26, 1945 in Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 17, 1990.

Lee was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Helen Catholic Church. She worked a Kroger for many years, later driving school bus for Saginaw Township. Lee enjoyed porcelain painting, shopping with her daughters and getting peanut butter from St. Lawrence’s as a yearly tradition. She taught her grandchildren the art of cookie making, above all she cherished her time with her family.

Surviving are her two daughters and their spouses: Cathy (Stephen) Philipie, Cindy (Mark) Rhodes, her grandchildren: Rachelle (Chris) Philipie- Schindler and Joshua Rhodes. She is also survived by her sisters Betty Sutliff, Evangeline Petrillo and many nieces and nephews.

Leola was predeceased by her husband Alfred and her parents Ernest and Ruth Hall.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at W.L. Case and Company (4480 Mackinaw Road). A private family prayer service will follow visitation. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens on Friday, December 18, 2020. Due to the world wide health pandemic, indoor building capacity is limited, face masks will be required and social distancing will be encouraged.
