A beloved woman known for her loving, caring, and adventurous spirit, passed away on June 3, 2024, in Midland. She was born on November 15, 1951, in Saginaw to the late Ernest and Rachel Johnson (Beardslee).

Laureann's passion for education led her to graduate from Douglas MacArthur High School. She would then go on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Teaching from Saginaw Valley State University. Her dedication to learning and nurturing others shone through in all aspects of her life.

Apart from her professional endeavors, Laureann had a plethora of hobbies and interests that brought her joy. She found solace in arts and crafts, tending to flower beds outdoors, and collecting antiques. Her adventurous spirit also manifested in her love for travel and exploring new places. Family held a special place in Laureann's heart, especially during holidays where she cherished spending quality time with loved ones. In addition to her passion for teaching and hobbies, Laureann was an animal lover with a warm and outgoing personality that endeared her to many.

Laureann is survived by her children: Ryan (Inez) Johnson, Nicole Miller, Heather (Mark) Jim; five cherished grandchildren: Sierra (Markeith) Johnson, Camron Johnson, Lillian (Graham) Johnson, Luke Jim, and Aileen Jim. She is also survived by her sister Donalee (James) Patrzik. Laureann was preceded in death by her parents and brother Gary Johnson.
