Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the age of 86 years.

The daughter of the late Alfred and Ethel (Killingbeck) Wise was born on December 20, 1938, in Saginaw. She married Duane Millar on November 17, 1986; he predeceased her on September 19, 2019. She attended Christian Assembly in Bay City. Laura was an excellent baker and candy maker. Her treats were well known and requested by family and friends. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, gardening and cherished her time with family and friends.

Surviving are her children: Elizabeth Cashen, Scott Church, Melbourne (Laura) Church, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her siblings: Victor (Nancy) Wise, Arlene (James) Kabat, Carol (John) Wise, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. Besides her husband and parents, Laura was predeceased by a son and daughter-in-law Dale (Pat) Jurich, daughter and son-in-law Laura (Jeff) Millar, siblings: Nellie LaRue, Gary Wise, Clifford Wise and a dear niece.

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 3, 2025, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Matt Place will officiate with entombment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Monday at the funeral chapel from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
