Laura Marie Forshee Bridgeport, Michigan Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister went home to be with our Lord on February 24, 2018, at the age of 93 years. Laura was born November 9, 1924, in Cuba, Missouri. She was the 2nd of 12 children born to the late Jackson and Anna (Caulley) Cunningham. She married Lloyd Forshee on November 27, 1943; he predeceased her on June 11, 1996. She was a homemaker, babysitter, and sold Avon for many years. She loved Jesus and sharing His love. Laura enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, attending church, and playing Dominos, and BINGO. She was loved and will be missed by her children, Donna Chapdelaine, Gary (Sandra) Forshee, Linda (Tom) Thompson, and Gregory Forshee; 12 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Betty Holleuffer and Bertie Morris; her special friend Ted Hackenberg; and many extended family members. She was predeceased by her siblings, Carrie Donnelly, Virginia Arakaki, Loetta Beck, Thomas Cunningham, John Cunningham, Sherman Cunningham, Robert Cunningham, Charles Cunningham, Franklin Cunningham. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018, at First Baptist Church of Bridgeport at 2400 King Road. Burial will take place in Pinegrove Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at W.L. Case & Company 5700 Dixie Highway and again at church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the service. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Bridgeport.
