Ruffle, Larry Lee Saginaw, MI Passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Munson Medical Center, Traverse City, MI, age 78 years. Larry was born March 5, 1936 in Saginaw, MI the son of the late Leo and Viola (Hensel) Ruffle. He married his high school sweetheart, Anne Fehrman, July 21, 1956 and she survives him. Larry was a member of First United Methodist Church. He graduated from GMI in Flint and retired from Saginaw Steering Gear after 37 years of service. Larry was an avid golfer and also loved fishing at Higgins Lake, walking, playing cards, and riding his bike. In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by three children, Mike (Charlotte) Ruffle, Lisa (Craig) Guster and Julie (Mike) Arnold; 11 grandchildren, Nicole (Dane) Martin, Tyler Ruffle, Erika Ruffle, Cameron Guster, Kyle Guster, Lindsay Guster, Nathan Gaps, Nick Arnold, Brett Arnold, Ben (Jodee) Arnold and Kaitlin Arnold; two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Colten Martin; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Virginia Fehrman; a sister-in-law, Clara Fehrman; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant daughter, and three siblings, Howard Ruffle, Helen Schmidt and Mildred Leach. The funeral service will take place 12:00 noon Friday, July 11, 2014 at First United Methodist Church, 4790 Gratiot Rd. Rev. Kathryn S. Snedeker will officiate. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Thursday from 2:00 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 -8:00 p.m. and Friday at church from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service.
