Went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the age of 78 years. The son of the late Dwight and Joan (Edwards) Maddox was born on October 14, 1939 in Saginaw. He retired from Saginaw Steering Gear after 20 years of service. Larry enjoyed cheering on the Detroit Sports Teams. Surviving are his siblings: James (Amy) Maddox, Susan (Gerald) Lich, Linda (Leonard) Doran, a brother-in-law Kenneth Bennett and many nieces and nephews including his beloved niece and caregiver Joan Stennett. Besides his parents, Larry was predeceased by his sisters: Darlene Krinkie and Judith Bennett. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
