It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth Duane Wood Jr., who left us on February 15, 2026, in Saginaw, Michigan, at the age of 65. Born on May 17, 1960, in Saginaw, Michigan to Kenneth Duane Sr. and Mary Karen (Woollard) Wood, Ken brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.
Ken loved to tell stories, and his family and friends always looked forward to hearing his tales. His stories often left lasting impressions on those fortunate enough to hear them.
He cherished his time at the family cabin in Hubbard Lake, especially spending time in the woods deer hunting. He also enjoyed golfing. These experiences shaped his character and created fond memories that he held dear throughout his life.
Ken is survived by his brother, Kevin (Amy) Wood; Step-brothers Jim (Karen) Thomas and Paul Thomas; Step-sister-in-law Wendy Thomas-Roe; and nephews Matt, Josh, and Nick Thomas. Also surviving is his beloved pup, Ellie Mae and many aunts, uncles, and cousins he spent many days with.
Alongside his parents, he is predeceased by his step-brother Ron Thomas.
Ken's family would like to extend a special thank you to the hardworking, compassionate staff of AdvisaCare Home heath and Hospice for their unwavering support and care of Ken. Their kindness is truly cherished.
