Obituary

Kenneth “Casey” Dale Marshall of Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. He was 52 years old. Kenneth Dale Marshall was born on January 28, 1973, in Flint, Michigan to the late Wanda Sue Marshall. He attended high school in Flint, Michigan, and later attended both Baker College and Mott Community College where he was majoring in architecture and drafting. Casey met the love of his life, Ramona Herrera, on March 10, 1991, while working at Red Lobster Restaurant making biscuits. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on May 21, 1994; she survives him. Casey was employed as a commercial terrazzo and tile master with Artisan Tile Inc., Terra Bella Terrazzo & Tile, and F&M Tile, where he skillfully crafted beautiful flooring throughout the Mid-West. He was currently working as a mechanic with the United States Postal Service at the Pontiac Metroplex. The role of his lifetime, one he treasured and cherished above all others, was to be a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Family made his heart feel full and was at the center of his life. Casey had an artistic soul finding peace in both drawing as well as and playing his guitar. He also enjoyed playing video games, especially on his Playstation and Xbox with his children and grandson. Casey absolutely loved his ‘95 cherry red Mustang Cobra, both his chariot and steed to travel. His little piece of heaven was spending time with his family at their pools or the beach. He will forever be remembered for his creative, wise, and intelligent spirit, for always being the life of the party, for being a true renaissance man with a wonderful sense of humor, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many beautiful memories and stories.

Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Ramona Marshall of Saginaw; two sons and a daughter: Kenneth W. Marshall of Ft. Wayne, IN; Jacqueline Marshall of Saginaw; Nicodemus Marshall of CA; one grandson, Vincent Rodgers of Saginaw; two sisters and one brother: Kimberly McDaniel of Burton; Patricia Marshall of Mt. Morris; David (Robyn) Curtis of St. Louis, MO; three sisters-in-law: Liz (David) Miller of MO; Minnie (Daniel) Snyder of NY; Valarie (Seth) Christensen of CA. Also surviving are countless nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends too numerous to mention, but held closely to his heart.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Sue Marshall; a sister, Kay Anne Marshall; mother- and father-in-law, Minnie and Dale Fischhaber; beloved aunt, Blenda Marshall; and his favorite chihuahua, Romeo.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Careline Hospice, especially his two nurses, Tracy and Sheena, and the hospice chaplain, Ms. Viola, for all the love and care they provided to Casey and the family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, MI 48603 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. A private family service will follow. Honoring Casey’s wishes, cremation will take place after the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the family c/o Ramona Marshall. Please share your thoughts and memories with the family at the funeral home or through www.casefuneralhome.com.
