Beloved wife and best friend, mother and grandmother passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021, at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper; at the age of 53 years.
The daughter of the late Richard Anthony Zieroff and Sharon Kay (Holt) Schwarz, Kelly was born on April 11, 1968 in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Birch Run High School with the class of 1986. Kelly then continued her education at Delta College. She married the love of her life and best friend, Matthew Christian McCollum on December 27, 1985; he survives her. Kelly attended First Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and reading. Above all, Kelly cherished the time spent with her family.
Surviving besides her husband of 35 years, Matthew Christian McCollum; five children: Corey McCollum, Drew McCollum, Ashley McCollum, Matthew McCollum, Ian McCollum; eight grandchildren: Kendal, Kaleigh, Jacob, Savanna, Shey, Elizabeth, Casey, Alex; her sister: Sandra (Christopher) Bird. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Honoring Kelly's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may consider memorials to the family.
