Obituary

Beloved mother, mimi, wife, sister, daughter and friend passed away on October 19th surrounded by her family at the age of 61.

The daughter of Norval James Hasse and Nancy Maurine Hasse (Shattuck) was born July 22nd, 1965. She spent many years of her childhood in St. Charles Michigan before her family moved to West Palm Beach, Florida. While living in Florida, Kelli was blessed with the birth of her children Keith, Ashley & Amber. After returning to Michigan, Kelli married Russ Eggers and they spent their years together surrounded by friendship, love and the welcoming of their 9 grandchildren. In 2019, they adopted their granddaughter, Adalyn Eggers. Kelli loved sports, especially football and was the proud season ticket holder for her 2 favorite teams, the Michigan Wolverines and the Detroit Lions. She loved being at the games, tailgating with friends and watching the marching band. She loved to travel, especially with her childhood best friend, Leslie. She also loved going to concerts, gardening, reading, playing an intense game of euchre and being up north for Eggerama but her greatest love was being with her grandbabies.

She is survived by her spouse, Russ Eggers, and children: Keith (Kimmy) Slimp, Ashley (Josh) Monchilov, Amber Slimp and Adalyn Eggers. grandchildren: Ashlyn, Avin, Alan, Henry, Amelia, Matilda, Branson and Bennett. Mother: Nancy Hasse, siblings: Michael Hasse and Jeff (Brigitte) Hasse, relatives and many friends. She was predeceased in death by her father Norval James Hasse, brother Timothy Hasse, grandparents Paul and Mary Hasse, June Shattack, Maurice and Lola Shattack.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors 201 N. Miller Rd. in Shields. Pastor Marc Herron will officiate.
