Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at her home, with her family at her side; at the age of 74 years.
The daughter of the late Nicholas and Olga (Rohn) Roach, Kathy was born on July 12, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Robert Sugar on November 7, 1966; he preceded her in death on March 22, 2017. Kathy was a recess monitor at Hemlock Public Schools for many years of loyal and dedicated service. She loved camping. Above all, Kathy cherished the time spent with her family.
Surviving are two daughters: Antoinette Denby, Mary (Matthew) Jacobs; four grandchildren: Nicholas (Irene) Moulton, Nathan Moulton, Matthew Denby, Kathryn Jacobs; and her sister: Carol Warner. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.
Honoring Kathy's wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will take place from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 125 E. Saginaw Street, Merrill, Michigan 48637.
