Kathleen L. Counselman "Kathy"

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, June 2, 2025. Age 76 years.

Kathy was born on February 1, 1949, daughter of the late Ralph and Katherine (Zoellner) Wells in Saginaw. She married Paul Counselman on January 19, 1991. He survives her. Kathy was a graduate of Bridgeport High School. She enjoyed playing BINGO and trips to the casino. Kathy loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, boat rides or just walking her dog, Cookie. She loved spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren.

Kathy will be sorely missed by her husband, Paul Counselman; children, Rochelle (Roger) Yost, Robin Chamberlain, Danielle Counselman, Paul Counselman Jr., Monica (Ron) Johnston and Jason Counselman; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Irene Exenkemper, Lorraine Halm and Arlene Sayan; many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sons, Randy Keys and Ralph Carpenter, granddaughter, Tonya Koch and her sister, Lorina Dubay.

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025, at W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie Highway. Rev. Wayne Barrett will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
