Kari R. Larkin (Esckelson)

Kari Renee Larkin (Esckelson) of Saginaw

Passed away at home surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on January 29, 1974, to Thomas and Diana (Liebknecht) Esckelson. Kari married Jeffery Larkin on November 20, 1998, and renewed their vows on March 6, 2021. Kari graduated from Frankenmuth High School in 1992, continued her education at Ferris State University, and achieved a degree from Baker College in Applied Science. Her family was her life, and she was the strongest person we knew. With her witty humor and strong will, she kept everyone she loved on their toes. She loved hot weather and spent her time (as much as possible) in the sun. Her favorite past times were spending time in the pool, flowering, shelling, and boating. Most important was her family.

Kari is survived by husband Jeff Larkin; parents Tom & Diana Esckelson; children Zachary Esckelson, Bayleigh Larkin, and Sage Larkin; grandchildren Kynzleigh, Easton, & Nash; sister Kristina (Dave) Weber; niece Kristin (Glenn) Moran; Nephew Kenneth Weber; and grandmother Betty Esckelson; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.

Kari was preceded in death by grandparents Wesley & Mary Jane Liebknecht and grandfather Max Esckelson.
