Karen Sue Grunow

Beloved sister, sister-in-law, and aunt Passed away on July 20, 2026, at the age of 77 years.

The daughter of the late Robert and Laura (Graham) Grunow was born on December 3, 1948, in Saginaw, MI. She graduated from Bridgeport High School, class of 1967. Karen lived most of her life in St. Petersburg, Florida, working at a hospital and returned to Michigan, working at Delphi. Karen was a kind and thoughtful person. She was an avid reader and loved playing games on the computer.

Surviving are two brothers, Robert (Tamie Stalsberg) Grunow Jr., and Thomas (Lori Piotrowski) Grunow; sister-in-law Darlene Boese Grunow; nephews and niece: Robert Grunow III and Brent (Andrea) Grunow, Eric (Ami) Grunow, Brittni (Ken) Ayers, Angie (Steve) Bekkala; great-nephews and nieces: Hudson and Piper Grunow, Rubi Grunow, Kinzie and Chloe Ayers, and Mason and Sabine Bekkala; as well as her beloved dog Kaycie.

Along with her parents she was predeceased by her brother, Tim Grunow.

Honoring Karen's wishes cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled at this time.
