Hutchison, Karen A. Saginaw, Michigan Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed away Friday, October 21, 2016, at the Cartwright Hospice Residence. Age 78 years. Karen A. Zaytsow was born June 24, 1938, in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Ann (Kotenko) and John Zaytsow. She graduated from Saginaw High School with the Class of 1956 and later received her Associates Degree from Bay City Junior College. She married Gerald D. "Jerry" Hutchison on September 20, 1958, celebrating 58 years of marriage this year. She had been employed as a legal secretary for B. J. Humphreys for over 30 years. She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church ELCA, Second and Federal Streets, serving on various boards. She had been a member and Past President of the Zonta Club of Saginaw and a member of the Zonta Club of Traverse City. She was also a member and Past President of the Legal Secretaries Association. She had been a member of the Germania Town and Country Club and enjoyed golfing and bowling. Surviving are her husband, Jerry; two daughters and one son, Jill A. (Jim) Hozeska, Saginaw; Duane W. Hutchison, Hillsboro Beach, Florida; Sondra K. Dinninger, Saginaw; four grandchildren, Nicholas Gerald (Rachel) Hozeska, Colorado; Brandon J. (Kristi) Hozeska, Holland, MI; Allison K. Hozeska, Holt, MI; Lauren M. Dinninger, Scotts, MI; four great-grandchildren, Mason, Nora, Spencer and Jaxson; one sister, Janice D. Hotchkiss, Hillsboro Beach, Florida. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Richard C. Hotchkiss. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where Karen's family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service. Rev. Connie Sassanella will officiate.
